Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data TerminalOne collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Last updated 15 August 2026

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your email address, display name and authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name and profile picture from that sign-in.
  • Subscription data — plan, status, billing period and the payment provider's customer and subscription identifiers. Card numbers never reach our servers.
  • Data-feed credentials — if you connect a broker account for live market data, the access token for that connection is stored encrypted and used only to fetch market data on your behalf.
  • Usage data — watchlists, preferences and basic technical logs such as timestamps and error traces needed to operate and debug the service.

2. Why we use it

We use your data to authenticate you, provide and gate access to subscribed modules, stream market data through your connected feed, process subscription payments and renewals, send service and billing notices, and keep the platform secure and working.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your broker connection for anything other than retrieving market data for your session.

3. Service providers

We rely on third parties to run the service: a cloud database and authentication provider for account storage, a payment processor for subscriptions, hosting infrastructure, and the market data or broker API you connect. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.

4. Security

Access to your records is restricted at the database level so that each account can only read its own rows. Broker tokens are encrypted before storage, traffic is served over HTTPS, and privileged operations run server-side. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse of your account.

5. Retention

We keep account, subscription and profile data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, watchlists and broker connections, retaining only records we are required to keep, such as payment and tax records held by our payment provider. You can disconnect a broker feed at any time from Settings, which deletes the stored token.

6. Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the app, disconnect your data feed, cancel your subscription, or request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us from your registered email address. We will verify the request before acting on it.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the service: keeping you signed in, remembering interface preferences and protecting against abuse. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

8. Children

TerminalOne is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we will notify you by email or in-app notice before the change takes effect. For any privacy question or request, write to us from the email registered to your account.
