Tradescan.in

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Tradescan.in is sold as a single annual plan at ₹1 for twelve months of access. This page explains how the charge works, how to stop it, and when money is returned.

Last updated 16 September 2026

1. How you are charged

  • One charge, once a year. Payment is taken as a single transaction for a twelve-month term through our payment provider.
  • No automatic renewal. We do not store a payment mandate and cannot debit your card or bank account again. When the twelve months end, access simply stops unless you choose to pay again.
  • Nothing to cancel. Because there is no recurring mandate, there is no subscription to cancel in order to avoid a further charge.
  • [GST TREATMENT — INCLUSIVE OR EXCLUSIVE — OWNER INPUT REQUIRED]

2. Stopping your subscription

You can stop using Tradescan.in at any time and no further amount will be taken. If you want your account and data removed as well, use the privacy controls in Your data rights or write to support@tradescan.in.

Closing your account does not by itself create a refund entitlement, and access ends immediately rather than continuing to the end of the paid term.

3. Refund window

Refund window for a first-time subscriber: [REFUND WINDOW — NUMBER OF DAYS OR 'NO REFUNDS' — OWNER INPUT REQUIRED]

We do not state a refund period until the business owner has confirmed it, because a published period is a binding commitment to you. Until it is confirmed here, refund requests are assessed individually under sections 4 and 5 below, and you will receive a written decision.

4. Situations where we refund

Where any of the following applies, write to support@tradescan.in from your registered email address and we will investigate and, where the facts bear it out, refund:

  • you were charged more than once for the same term;
  • you were charged but access to the paid modules was never granted;
  • the payment was not authorised by you;
  • the terminal was substantially unavailable for a prolonged period because of a fault on our side, in which case we may extend your term instead of refunding.

5. Situations where we do not refund

  • Trading losses. Tradescan.in is analytics software. It does not advise, recommend or execute, and losses on your trades are not a product defect. See the Risk Disclosure.
  • Dissatisfaction with analytical output. Scores, rankings and setup strength bands are calculations, not forecasts, and a calculation that did not work out is not a fault.
  • Interruptions, delays or gaps in exchange data, broker feeds or your own broker connection, which originate outside our platform.
  • Unused time, once a refund decision has been made and communicated.

6. How a refund is paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment provider. The time taken to appear in your account is controlled by your bank or card issuer, not by us, so we do not promise a specific number of days.

Turnaround for acknowledging a request: [ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND PROCESSING TIMELINE — OWNER INPUT REQUIRED]

7. Price changes

The price of a future term may differ from what you paid. Since there is no automatic renewal, a price change can never result in a charge you did not choose to make.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, escalate it through our grievance process. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not limit any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
